It might be difficult to believe but in Barcelona you can guess from which area of the city somebody comes from by only looking the way he is dressed. This is very clear in Sarrià, an upper corner of the city. Once you are there you see a lot of people well-dressed, with an special style that does not dominate other parts of Barcelona. And once you are there it is a must to check which delicatessen Foix de Sarrià -a local and traditional pastry shop which was managed by a local poet until he died in 1987- is offering. That is what I did last weekend and look at that! Plum-cake slides at only 1,80 euros. Quite reasonable, isn’t it?
